Choi Jeong-jeong was the SSG Landers fixer.

SSG won the 11th game of the 2023 Shinhan Bank SOL KBO League against the Hanwha Eagles 6-1 on Tuesday at SSG Landers Field in Incheon.

Starting pitcher Oh Won-seok earned the win with five innings of one-run ball, while Park Sung-yi tied the game, Choi Jeong-jeong hit the game-winner, and Kim Sung-hyun delivered the game-winning hit. Veteran right-hander Moon Seung-won worked out of a bases-loaded jam in the seventh and another in the eighth to preserve the win.

Choi, who started at third base and batted third on the day and went 3-for-4 with two RBIs, including the game-winning hit, said, “I was in a tough situation, but I got the game-winning hit, and it feels good to be able to keep scoring runs and win.” 스포츠토토

SSG turned the game around in the bottom of the fifth. With one out against Hanwha’s second pitcher Kim Bum-soo, Choi Ji-hoon drew a walk. Shin-soo Choo hit a grounder in front of the second baseman that looked like it was going to be a double, but it got stuck in the glove of Jeong Eun-won, the Hanwha second baseman.

With runners on first and second, Choi flied out to left field and Choi hit a two-run double to left-center field. Heredia followed with an infield single to shortstop, and a throwing error by the shortstop allowed Choi, who was at second, to round third and come home.

Choi said, “The opposing pitcher, Kim Bum-soo, has a fastball and a good changeup. When I analyzed him, he had a high percentage of changeups, so I aimed for the outside with the idea of a changeup rather than a fastball, and I think I got a good result.”
